The playlist page is built for watching. The address bar shows the playlist id, not the YouTube playlist length, and copying dozens of links by hand is how course outlines and audits go wrong.
This calculator reads a public playlist, adds the durations YouTube already publishes, and keeps the watch links in the same order. Use the total time to plan a binge, a lesson, or a migration.

Open the playlist on YouTube and copy the address. It should contain list=, for example youtube.com/playlist?list=…

The tool reads the public playlist and returns the total duration, video count, and each video’s watch link, title, channel, and length.

Read the total time
The YouTube playlist length is the sum of the durations YouTube showed. If a video has no duration, it is left out of the total and counted separately.

How does this YouTube playlist length calculator work?
Paste a public playlist link. The calculator adds up each video’s duration and shows the total YouTube playlist length, plus the video count.
Can it calculate YouTube playlist duration for a long list?
It totals up to 300 videos per run, in playlist order. A longer playlist returns the first 300 and says the list continues, so the duration is for that portion.
Do I get the video files?
No. You get the total length, and the watch link, title, channel, and duration for each video. The files stay on YouTube.
Which playlist links work?
Public playlists. The URL needs a list= id, including youtube.com/playlist?list=… and a watch URL that also has list=. Private playlists, Watch Later, and Liked Videos stay on your account.
Can I calculate the length of a Mix or radio playlist?
A Mix (list ids that start with RD) is a changing radio queue, so the total time will change. A saved playlist with a PL id is the stable list to measure.
